Our back entrance just got a refresh! The crepe myrtles have been trimmed, the brick sign cleaned, and new shade-loving plants added. We’re grateful for the behind-the-scenes efforts that made this possible.

The pool rules have been updated with new age restrictions. Please take a look.
The pool will be closed tomorrow Saturday, April 11, 10am-12pm for a private party.
Idlewild's pool opens tomorrow, April 1st. Hours this year are from 8am-10pm.
Our annual meeting will be held at Thompson Hall Fire Station on April 12, 2026, at 1pm.
The City of Fairhope will soon begin construction on the 24-inch water line project near the Idlewild Subdivision.

As part of this work, there may be a need to temporarily close the Fairhope Avenue entrance of the Idlewild Subdivision for several days while crews install the line within the roadway. If a closure becomes necessary, the City will provide at least two weeks’ advance notice to allow residents time to plan.​
